Recognise and Reward Flexibility Services

WeStorix actively supports the grid through demand optimisation, peak shaving, and balancing services. However, access to flexibility markets remains limited or undefined in many Member States, despite EU-wide support in principle.

• Mandate the development of transparent, non-discriminatory flexibility markets in all Member States
• Ensure storage operators can access these markets with clear price signals and remuneration models

Well-functioning flexibility markets can reduce curtailment, defer grid reinforcement costs, and lower consumer energy bills—central affordability and competitiveness objectives for the EU.
